Introduction to and purposes of teaching and scientific research:
Modern information exchange laboratory can meet the requirements of speciality courses and experimental teaching and graduation design for undergraduate as well as graduate in the department of electrical engineering😠,including electronic information engineering, communication engineering. As the core of optical fiber communication technology and modern switching technology, Modern information exchange laboratory is a professional course lab which has 20 teaching equipment. Now, the lab mainly undertakes teaching tasks such as optical fiber communication experiment, modern switching technology experiment, Elective course of fiber-optical communication measurement technology experiment, graduation design, and so on. The lab also has simple research conditions.
This lab has such equipments as fiber-optical communication comprehensive experiment boxes, SPC exchange comprehensive experiment boxes, oscilloscope, optical power meter, digital multimeter, frequency meter, fusion splicer, Erbium-doped Optical Fiber Amplifier (EDFA), fiber optical identifier and so on; It also has optical fiber communication simulation software optisystem3.0.
